No one better shows this than singer\/songwriter Aim\u00e9e<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>No stranger to the entertainment space, as a teen Aim\u00e9e created content on YouTube, racking up hundreds of thousands of views and bringing her to the attention of a huge online audience. As she grew and her media changed from desktop to mobile, and on to Instagram, where she continues to create videos and content for thousands of fans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aim\u00e9e<\/strong>, born in Dublin, is a trained dancer and natural vocalist has walked a long road to get to where she is today. Growing up listening to, and being influenced by nineties pop heavyweights such as Christine Aguilera and Britney Spears, Aim\u00e9e is an artist who sounds completely in control of her creative vision and her sound.<\/p>\n<p>Embracing the early noughties production styles, influenced by the likes of Aguilera and Spears, but coupling this with a love of modern artists such as Ariana Grande, Charlie Puth and Demi Lovato, Aim\u00e9e began working on her current material in early 2018, after teaming up with Mark McCabe and Ovie for his track <a href=\"https:\/\/lnk.to\/OVERAIMEEWE\">&#8216;Over Me&#8217;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Her debut single<strong> &#8220;Don&#8217;t Bother&#8221;<\/strong> is a break-up song like no other, ditching the over-used narratives of other songs, <strong>Aim\u00e9e<\/strong> digs into personal experience to share a true sense of what it&#8217;s like.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Speaking about her single &#8216;Don&#8217;t Bother&#8217;, Aim\u00e9e said;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em><strong>\u2019Don\u2019t Bother\u2019<\/strong>, for me, is the song that every person who has been through the type of break up that I went through, needs. I wrote \u2019Don\u2019t Bother\u2019 last year with my good friend Richey when I was reminiscing about a relationship that I had been a part of that had fallen apart. In the past, I\u2019ve written lots of songs about breakups but they always sounded quite sad &amp; I was always the victim.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When in reality I never felt like the victim, and I think that\u2019s a narrative that\u2019s been told too many times. What I really wanted was to write a song about a break up that is strong &amp; empowering. Not angry or vengeful, but a definite \u2018two fingers-it\u2019s your loss\u2019 vibe. Something that felt real and authentic to my past experiences.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I love <strong>\u2018Don\u2019t Bother\u2019<\/strong> so much because I feel like everyone has come across that one person that thinks they can have whoever they want, whenever they want. That\u2019s only in a relationship for what they can get out of it.
