Jessie Ware\u2019s<\/strong> infectious fifth album \u2018That! Feels Good!<\/strong>\u2019 is available to buy and stream today via EMI Records<\/strong>. The album includes the acclaimed singles \u2018Free Yourself\u2019, \u2018Pearls\u2019 <\/strong>and \u2018Begin Again\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There\u2019s an incredible feeling of freedom found throughout Jessie Ware\u2019s new album \u2018That! Feels Good!<\/strong>.\u2019\u00a0 It’s the sound of a person letting loose and letting go while encouraging everyone else to do the same. The success of \u2018What\u2019s Your Pleasure?<\/strong>\u2019 And subsequent live shows (British Fashion Awards, Glastonbury, Primavera <\/strong>and supporting Harry Styles<\/strong>) have been a key influence on the creation and curation of Jessie\u2019s fifth album.<\/p>\n

It is, says Jessie, a piece of work that she has made with one person in mind. \u201cThis is for me. Well, it\u2019s for as many people as possible,\u201d <\/em>she beams. \u201cBut more than anything, I knew the album I wanted to make, and who I wanted to make it with. I\u2019ve put aside years of anxiety, imposter syndrome and all that fretting and feeling like I\u2019m not good enough. That\u2019s not to take anything away from what\u2019s come before because I\u2019m incredibly proud of it all, but I\u2019m in a place, today, where I feel fully happy and relaxed in who I am and the music I\u2019m making.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Album opener \u2018That! Feels Good!<\/strong>\u2019 with its insistent bassline sets the tone and sees Jessie joined by a stellar cast delivering spoken word from the likes of pop royalty Kylie, to comedy genius Aisling Bea, producer Benny Blanco and the lovely Lennie. Previous single \u2018Free Yourself<\/strong>\u2019 is loaded with infectious energy that celebrates the joy of being unapologetically yourself.<\/p>\n

\u2018Pearls<\/strong>\u2019 sees the dancefloor diva back where she belongs. Current single \u2018Begin Again<\/strong>\u2019 an incisive, refreshingly positive throwback that channels the energy of classic funk and dance. \u2018Beautiful People\u2019 <\/strong>flings the doors open to an invite-only party where the dancefloor is on fire and the disco ball aglow. The electronica continues on Stuart Price\u2019s \u2018Freak Me Now\u2019 <\/strong>which heads South to soak up the sounds of French House.<\/p>\n

Jessie has succeeded in audaciously mulching several decades of party music into an album so relentless as a playlist. Letting her own inhibitions, anxieties and expectations placed on her go. Jessie is not only a person in control, but someone at the peak of their game.<\/p>\n
