1 \u2013 Who Are BLACKPINK?<\/h3>\n

BlackPink<\/strong> is comprised of Jisoo<\/strong>, Jennie<\/strong>, Lisa<\/strong>, and Ros\u00e9<\/strong>. Four charismatic women who are not only incredible vocalists and dancers, but fashion icons for Millennials and Gen Z the world over. Fans are known affectionately as \u2018Blinks\u2019. Part of the global appeal behind the band, is the diversity of the group; Ros\u00e9 WAS BORN IN New Zealand and raised in Australia, Jennie was born in New Zealand and raised in Korea, Lisa spent most of her upbringing in Thailand, While Jisoo is a Seoul native, born and bred.<\/p>\n

2 \u2013 International hits<\/h3>\n

BlackPink\u2019s debut release was \u2018Square One<\/strong>\u2019 in 2016. Instantly proving a hit in Korea and around the world. It popped onto the RADAR of Rolling Stone, who called it \u201ca perfect marriage of K-pop and A-town trap.\u201d Their EP release of the same title in June 2018 went straight in at #40 in the Billboard 200, and #1 in the Billboard World Albums Chart.<\/p>\n

3 \u2013 Kiss and Make Up<\/h3>\n

The band have recently spotted with Electric Picnic 2018 headliner Dua Lipa<\/strong>, for her song \u201cKiss and Make Up<\/strong>\u201d and also appearing in the video. To date the track has 164 million streams on Spotify alone.<\/p>\n

4 \u2013 Record Breakers<\/h3>\n

As if all of the above wasn\u2019t enough, BlackPink are unstoppable. Their single \u201cDdu-Du, Ddu-Du<\/strong>\u201d broke the record for highest charting Billboard Hot 100 debut by an all-Female K-Pop act. The video itself gained 36.2million views in its first day online. At time of writing this, it\u2019s standing at 758 million views.<\/p>\n

BlackPink have truly gone international and are headed straight for Coachella in the US, followed by arena tour in the US, EU, Australia and Asia! While each member has also been working on their own individual music.
