Earlier this year, Kennedy released his self-titled EP<\/strong>, which included the incredible single “Power Over Me<\/strong><\/a>“. The single went Gold in Canada and was a hit in Ireland and across the world. Over the past few years, Dermot Kennedy<\/strong> has been getting more and more attention in both Ireland and the US, even appearing in GQ, where they described him as\u00a0“[a] singer with a rich, reverberant voice, [with] epically emotive songwriting skills (think\u00a0Ed Sheeran, but darker, more melancholy).” He was also featured as one of our Artists to Watch for 2019<\/a>\u00a0and Top 5 Irish Artists righ<\/a>t now.<\/p>\n

Dermot Kennedy is expected to release his debut album later this year. Currently, on his European tour, Kennedy will be back in Dublin in June; to support Mumford & Sons for their two-night concert at Malahide Castle.
