Madame X is the Madonna\u2019s 14th studio album, and references a nickname that she was given by American dance legend Martha Graham when she was just 19. 41 years later, Madame X takes on a political, fiery tone as it touches on a host of highly-charged issues.<\/p>\n

Well accustomed to inventing and reinventing herself, Madonna holds that Madame X<\/a> as a character is actually the narrator of the album. With each song assuming or revealing a new identity that fights back at a societal ill. In an Instagram teaser, Madonna revealed that:<\/span><\/p>\n
