With the release of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Complete Edition <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of his stunning debut album <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Without Fear<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Kennedy has broken records here at home as he has become the first Irish artist to have a number one in both the singles and albums chart at the same time for three consecutive weeks. While the original is an organ fuelled rock and roll ballad, Lyra stripped the number down to its core and reinterpretted it as an epic orchestral anthem. Lyra\u2019s vocals are passionately powerful and the result is a strong, optimistic vision for a more positive future. Just in time for Christmas, Lyra also released <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Magic Of Christmas <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EP at the end of November. The project saw the likes of Lisa Hannigan, Imelda May, RuthAnne, Aim\u00e9e, Erica Cody, Pillow Queens and Caroline Corr (to name just a few!) collaborate in aid of Safe Ireland. The project then returned with an original Christmas song, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Together At Christmas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in support of Childline. One thing that hasn\u2019t changed is May\u2019s sensational way with words and this year, we saw the Dubliner release a series of poetry oriented works on her EP <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Slip of the Tongue <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as well as her incredibly powerful home performance of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You Don\u2019t Get to be Irish and Racist<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"video","video_platform":"youtube","video":"qYluS5kLit0","facebook_video":"","video_caption":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"copy","copy":"<h2><b>Niall Horan &#8211; Heartbreak Weather<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Back in March, Mullingar native Niall Horan released his second studio album<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Heartbreak Weather<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The album is an uplifting collection of lush pop numbers and features the feel good hits <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Black and White<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nice To Meet Ya<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Put a Little Love On Me <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No Judgement<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
