Fresh from their second studio album “Suspended<\/a>“, the four-piece, Dublin-based band are heading to Cork. Gypsies on the Autobahn support Bombay Bicycle Club in Corks’ Opera House for their show on August 3rd.<\/p>\n

Suspended, featuring the singles “Make You Mine” and “Gonna Be Strong” has been making waves across the music scene since release. With strong reviews<\/a> coming in thick and fast, it’s hard not to be excited to see the band perform the album in a venue as renowned as Cork’s Opera House. Gypsies on the Autobahn previously performed the album in Dublin’s newest music venue; Lost Lane<\/a>. Bombay Bicycle Club are close friends of the band, so are delighted to see Gypsies on the Autobahn support.<\/p>\n

Perhaps one of the most striking elements of Suspended, is the emotion and the real-life nature of the album. Challenging the complexity of human emotion and the situations we live in. Gypsies on the Autobahn was started in 2006, when James and Dan Smith formed the band to compete in their school’s Battle of the Bands competition. The album Suspended, is very much a letter to their family. It still retains the sound, and tone which audiences fell in love with on their first album “Born Brief<\/a>“.<\/p>\n
