The Dublin quartet have been building to this occasion for the past couple of years as they have honed their skills and core sound through a series of blistering pop-rock singles, all while touring throughout Europe, Japan and the US.
After returning home from a run of shows in Japan in February 2020, Inhaler were riding a wave which was well and truly beginning to propel the group to new heights. But then the pandemic hit and Inhaler, like many, were forced to hunker down and take stock. Inhaler were forced to hit pause at a time when they were running ahead with plenty of momentum, but after the initial set of hurdles that lockdown brought, they managed to bounce right back. Online Zoom writing sessions provided an opportunity for the band to continue with their process and by the time the summer rolled around, they were able to enter Narcissus Studios in London, with long-term collaborator Antony Genn, to get back to writing the album. The band returned to London in September and after a series of focused studio sessions, Inhaler recorded and fine tuned their debut.
