Irish Artists

Irish indie-pop sensation Picture This are set to release their third studio album, Life In Colour, on June 25th.

By treating us to a string of emotionally driven singles including Things Are Different, LA House Party and If Ever However Whenever Forever, the lads from Athy have everything lined up nicely for the release of their third offering.

In anticipation of Life In Colour, we take a look at some of the group’s finest moments and biggest releases to date.

For You EP

It all started here for Picture This. After releasing their debut single Take My Hand in 2015, the group released their first EP the following year. Made up of five blistering ballads with hints of indie, folk and pop, For You helped to put Picture This on the map.

Picture This

Picture This released their debut studio album on 25th August 2017. The album hit the top spot in the Irish Albums Chart and contains the passionate singles Take My Hand, You & I, Everything I Need and Never Change. Combining sincere and heartfelt lyrics with confident songwriting, Picture This hit the ground running with their debut.

MDRN LV

The group’s second studio album arrived on 15th February 2019. The album opener, Modern Love showcases the striking songwriting that the band executed throughout their debut, but this time, sharp production elevated the band’s sound even further. One Drink followed suit with its slick synth backbone and sweet guitar licks.

New Heights

Following the release of MDRN LV, Picture This began to reach new heights (quite literally) and extended their reach into America. They celebrated the release of their second record with a performance on top of NYC’s Empire State Building and followed up with a North America Tour in the spring of 2019. In March of the same year, the lads performed a historical five nights on home soil at Dublin’s 3Arena.

Picture This embarked on a UK and European tour at the end of 2019, wrapping things up at the end of February in 2020. With their upcoming album released in June, a UK tour is scheduled for October 2021, kicking off in Nottingham and finishing up in Manchester. The group’s Irish tour has been pushed back to June 2022 with dates lined up in Cork, Dublin and Belfast.

From Pictures to Videos

Having gone from strength to strength with every album released, Picture This have made waves with their epic live performances in venues and on TV, at home and overseas. Most recently, they appeared live on James Corden’s Late Late Show with an electric performance of Things Are Different. Recorded at Dublin’s Croke Park, the band laid their mark on such a fantastic venue – somewhere that the band will surely want to conquer in front of a live crowd someday soon.

With a recorded live performance of one of their 2019 3Arena shows in Dublin now available to watch, it’s possible to see the impact of Picture This on their home turf.

Picture This release their third album Life In Colour on June 25 via Republic Records/Let’s Get It! Records.
